Gunnison Angling Society & Community Members,
The home ditch water users are proposing a diversion reconstruction on the Gunnison River at mile 6.5 below Almont and are soliciting the Gunnison River recreation community for any comments or concerns.
The diversion services the Home Ditch which irrigates several hay meadow pastures and subdivisions and while the diversion is intended to deliver to the water right holders it was designed and will be constructed with boater safety and navigability as primary concerns while also improving the fish habitat throughout the reach.
